Supari also known as areca nut is the seed of the areca palm, which grows in parts of the tropical Pacific, Southeast and South Asia, and parts of east Africa. It is commonly referred to as betel nut. It has a variety of uses from meat tenderizer to paan. Also used in pooja and as a mouth freshener.
